Simple, Transparent Pricing

xrayGraphDB is licensed software — Professional or Enterprise. Professional runs the full single-node engine: both query languages, both protocols, hundreds of built-in functions, and the native analyzer suite. Enterprise adds clustering, HA, per-tenant encryption, and multi-tenant RBAC.

What You Get with Professional

Professional is the full production engine on a single node — not a trial, not a limited build.

Full Query Engine

Complete Cypher parser with broad compatibility, GFQL with its own planner, and hundreds of built-in functions. No artificial limits.

Dual Protocol

Bolt v5 for compatibility with standard graph drivers. xrayProtocol for high-throughput columnar streaming. Both protocols enabled by default.

Plan Cache

Repeated queries hit a compiled-plan cache for substantial speedups. Automatic invalidation on schema changes. No configuration required.

EMBED() Vectors

Store, index, and query vector embeddings natively, with multiple distance metrics. No plugins or external systems.

Native Analyzers

The xray.* native analyzer suite — centrality, community detection, pathfinding, and more — included with every Professional license.

Vectorized Engine

Batched columnar execution for high throughput. The same engine powers both Professional and Enterprise.

Frequently Asked

Can I use Professional in production?
Yes. Professional is the full production engine on a single node. It has the same execution engine, query languages, protocols, and plan cache as Enterprise. Enterprise adds operational scale features: HA clustering, multi-tenant and multi-database, per-tenant encryption, and granular RBAC.
What happens if my license expires?
Your data is always preserved — a license never holds your data hostage. Reapply a valid Professional or Enterprise license to restore full operation. No data migration, no re-import.
How do I activate my license?
Install the signed license key file. That is it — no data migration, no re-import, no downtime. Upgrading from Professional to Enterprise is the same: apply the new key and Enterprise features activate immediately. All existing data, indexes, and configuration are preserved.
Is there a cloud-hosted version?
Not yet. xrayGraphDB is currently self-hosted (Docker, bare metal, or VM). A managed cloud offering is on the roadmap. Contact sales@emtailabs.com if you need managed hosting.
What Neo4j drivers work with xrayGraphDB?
All official Neo4j drivers that support Bolt v5: Python (neo4j), Java (neo4j-java-driver), JavaScript (neo4j-driver), .NET (Neo4j.Driver), and Go (neo4j-go-driver). The connection string is bolt://host:7687.
Is xrayGraphDB open source?
xrayGraphDB is a proprietary, licensed product of eMTAi LLC. The source code is not published. All code is original eMTAi engineering — it is not a fork of any existing database.
How does per-tenant encryption differ from at-rest encryption?
Standard at-rest encryption uses one key for the entire database. Per-tenant encryption gives each tenant its own independent key, so a compromised tenant key cannot decrypt any other tenant's data. Volume binding prevents disk-cloning attacks. This isolation model is unique to xrayGraphDB and is an Enterprise feature.
